Let me share one more belief with you…

Spirituality in the classroom is when you provide students an opportunity to develop their emotional and interpersonal skills during the academic day. You are also acknowledging the whole child and not just the intellectual processes that go on. Life is an interdependent experience and any program that promotes pro-social behavior and emotional intelligence better prepares the child for a successful and fulfilling future.

Spirituality in the classroom is also an experience where children get to recognize their uniqueness and how to negotiate and make room for differences. This approach to human development affirms the spiritual dimension of a person — which is the source of WISDOM, INSPIRATION, and MEANING.
